From the age of seven I've been engaged with music. Playing the piano at school, singing in the choir, learning guitar and the appalachian dulcimer, dancing modern and traditional dances and so on.

I've worked as a solo artist, in harmony groups and in shows. Traditional folk singing has been the core of my professional side and was part of the three part harmony female group Bryony and later of the four part harmony group Beggars Velvet with whom I toured within the UK and overseas to the States.

Today I also sing blues, country and some jazz numbers but often returning to traditional and modern folk. As well as appearing locally in pubs and clubs I currently run our local choir and help with a toddler's music group.
